We’d love to stay in touch [pun intended]. If you share your e-mail address, we promise to keep it to ourselves.
I’m originally from the Rocky Mountains of Western Montana; I moved to New York in 1998 after completing the MFA Acting program at the Florida State University Asolo Conservatory. When I moved to New York, years of running took their toll on my knee; I learned that I had developed a muscular imbalance from the very exercise I was using to maintain my personal zen, and while physical therapy helped to heal my body, I found the most physical and mental relief from massage. Having gone through the recovery process, I was drawn to explore the healing arts further.

While I was acting full-time professionally in Manhattan and regionally, I started studying Reiki, a powerful Japanese healing technique, so I could work on myself while trying to manage the stress that comes from living out of a suitcase. But I knew that I had to go further: in 2003 I took six months to study massage intensively at the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, New York. My 1,000 hours of training included many massage styles and techniques: Swedish, shiatsu, sports, pre-natal, deep/connective tissue, and NeuroMuscular Therapy (trigger point work).
Since receiving my New York state massage licensure in 2004, I have worked in luxury spas as well as with private clients who have a large range of concerns. I’ve also become a Reiki Master Teacher, while still working regularly as a professional actor.
Every body is different; with the right therapies, it is possible to achieve balance and strength. Sometimes it’s necessary to approach an issue from many angles, so I have a network of talented health professionals I refer to including chiropractors, acupuncturists, yoga and meditation instructors, personal trainers, nutritional consultants, counselors, and life coaches.
